I’m in love with my new dome! It’s sturdy and should withstand the high winds that come off the sea near us. It looks spectacular and has been much admired. It’s a great garden feature and escape and I’ve been practically living in it since it was assembled.

What are the dimensions of GeoDomeX?

Perfectly sized for versatility, GeoDomeX measures 3.55m/11.6ft in width and 2.1m in height, providing ample space for a variety of uses, from a cozy garden retreat to an innovative workspace.

How is GeoDomeX anchored down?

GeoDomeX is secured to the ground with specially designed 'L'-shaped brackets which can be screwed or pinned into any ground surface including grass, decking, paving slabs, composites, concrete, gravel etc.

How does GeoDomeX perform in extreme weather?

Constructed to withstand diverse weather conditions, GeoDomeX is resistant to wind and heat and features a unique UV coating, ensuring durability and preventing aging of the material for many years to come.

How do I clean and maintain the dome?

Easy maintenance, long-lasting beauty. With UV protection and a 10+ year lifespan, GeoDomeX requires minimal upkeep. Just hose or wipe it down occasionally to keep it looking fresh and new, however the rain takes care of most of the work.

Do I have to pay taxes, duties or customs charges?

GeoDomeX offers free shipping on all orders. All transactions are free from custom/duty charges.

How is GeoDomeX packaged and delivered? 

GeoDomeX is delivered by standard shipping couriers in most cases. It arrives in two boxes allowing for easier manoeuvrability from door to assemble space.

Do I need any specific tools or skills to assemble GeoDomeX?

No. The kit includes all panels and fixings as well as a screwdriver. Depending on your anchoring method you may also require a hammer and pegs or a drill and screws. 

How long does it take to assemble GeoDomeX?

It takes 2 people an average of 4 hours to build GeoDomeX. We also provide an assembly service that can be selected at check out should you require it. 

Can I move my dome to another location?

Yes. GeoDomeX can be disassembled and reassembled in another location. It is also possible to move the dome as one piece with 3-6 people. 

Is planning permission or a building permit required?

No. As permanent foundations are not required, GeoDomeX is classed as a temporary structure in the UK and therefore usually does not require any planning permission or permits. Please check with your local council for your local regulations. We can’t advise for countries outside of the UK. 

Do I need to prepare the space before I assemble my GeoDomeX?

No, you just need to check the ground is level around the circumference of the dome. When anchoring, ensure there is no underground media such as water pipes or electrical cables. 

I plan to use GeoDomeX commercially. Is it fire resistant?

Yes. It has a European Fire Rating of A2 - Non-combustable. 

Is there a warranty?

Every dome comes with a 10+ year lifespan and a 5 year manufacturers part warranty that includes replacement parts.
